In 1996, we came together as a small group of foodie friends to share our passion for the traditional bread, pastries, and food from our countryside villages in and around Provence, France, that we missed so much. A dream of owning a restaurant was born.
Soon after, we decided to open La Provence, a small bakery and bistro in Lake Oswego, Oregon. There, we enjoyed bringing European delights and hearty meals to the plates of all who stopped by–friends, family, and neighbors. Exciting expansion plans began.
Now, with La Provence & Petite Provence restaurants reaching across the Portland-Metro area and beyond, we’ve branched out to bring our crowd-pleasing food and bakery goods to all of your gatherings and special events.
