TSUNAGU Kicks Off at The Center for Architecture

TSUNAGU Kicks Off at The Center for Architecture! Blog  Center for Architecture

A fresh, February First Thursday is kicking off a month-long exhibit at Portland’s Center for Architecture.  TSUNAGU: Connecting to the Architecture of Kengo Kuma showcases world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma’s design for the Portland Japanese Garden’s Cultural Crossing project.  The exhibit transforms the space at the CFA with back-lit paper walls, swooping screens, and other surprises that are waiting for you to explore!

The exhibit, co-sponsored by The Center for Architecture and the Portland Japanese Garden, opens in conjunction with a lecture by Kuma and Professor Botond Bognar at the Portland Art Museum on Saturday, February 6th.  A public discussion will follow the lecture, moderated by Portland’s Randy Gragg.
