Interface Engineering, an internationally recognized leader in high performance design, is seeking to add a Mechanical Designer to our Portland team.
As a Mechanical Designer, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
•Preliminary mechanical design and layout
•Document delivery coordination
•Preliminary load calculations
•Researching commercially available equipment
•System design with direction from mentor and/or senior engineer
•Provide exemplary customer service to internal team members as well as clients
Required qualifications for this role will include:
•BSME or equivalent (1-4 years) experience
•Developing knowledge of building codes
•Ability to perform multiple functions in a multi-deadline changing environment
•Ability to work effectively within a team orientated collaborative environment
Preferred qualifications for this role will include:
•Developing knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP
•EIT certification or interest in obtaining
•LEED accreditation or interest in obtaining
•Excellent communication and time management skills
