Responsibilities include working with the Regional Branch Sales Manager and Branch Team to provide excellent customer service to our existing retail and contractor customer base and provide daily on-site supervision over branch operations. Key responsibilities include answering calls and emails directed to customers and suppliers, entering all customer requests in our sales order system and creating all sales orders for customers, i.e. correspondence, quotes, orders, etc. Assisting customers with challenges such as delays, or order corrections. Recommending solutions based on customer needs including, order placement, billing issues, and benefits to solve customer problems. This position requires working both inside our showroom, in addition to our outside warehouse and stone yard area.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years similar work experience and/or related experience in the building materials industry. This position demands someone with a high level of customer service and the ability to handle multiple priorities is essential. Familiarity with computers, and strong mathematical skills are required. College level business, construction or related coursework is required, with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred. The qualified candidate must have excellent interpersonal written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast-paced branch team. Previous experience with masonry products, stone and/or construction practices a plus.
