The National Urbanism Next Conference is returning to Portland, OR on May 7-9! This is the event to attend for thinking beyond new technologies themselves and asking the larger questions of how autonomous vehicles, new mobility, and e-commerce affect our cities and communities. Attendees of last year’s conference commended the session content and the interdisciplinary approach to understanding how emerging technologies are changing cities. This year Urbanism Next is welcoming an even broader range of presenters and topics to build on the conversation and explore the ways that technological innovations can be harnessed to achieve desired outcomes.
This year’s program will feature national and international experts from the public, private, and academic sectors presenting sessions on public-private partnerships, pilot projects, shared micromobility services, street design, data usage, equity concerns, research findings, and much more! The National Urbanism Next Conference is a collaboration between the University of Oregon and the National and Oregon Chapters of the American Institute of Architects, the American Planning Association, and the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Urban Land Institute Northwest and is a great way to earn your AIA, APA, and ASLA continuing education credits while meeting like-minded professionals from around the country.
Early registration is available through Friday, April 12! Register now to save!
