Portland State University School of Architecture offers two options for master’s level study in architecture, together with a graduate certificate in public interest design, a graduate certificate in urban design, and a pre-professional undergraduate degree in architecture:
- Master of Architecture, Two-year
- Master of Architecture, Three-year Track
- Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design
- Graduate Certificate in Urban Design
- BA or BS in Architecture

Learn about our graduate programs in architecture at our information sessions. You’ll meet our teaching faculty and director, talk with current students, learn about the curriculum and our teaching philosophy, discover leadership and design-build opportunities for students, tour our studios and lab facilities, and find out more about the application process for our programs.

Our faculty are leaders in architectural disciplines including architectural theory and history, sustainable design, green building science and energy efficient building technology, public interest design, urbanism, urban design, and professional practice.

Please note that the deadline to apply to join our 3-year and 2-year Master of Architecture programs for 2020 is January 16, 2020. The deadlines to apply to the Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design are January 16, 2020 for Spring 2020, and July 15, 2020 for Fall 2020.
