2021 IIDA Oregon Chapter NEXT Virtual Event

Feb 11, 2021 8:00 am - 9:30 am
At NEXT you’ll learn about STORYTELLING from 3 thought-provoking speakers who hope to inspire you with new ideas on how to tell your story.

The IIDA Oregon Chapter invites you to start your day with NEXT – an annual keynote speaker series featuring thought leadership from the design industry and beyond. Our goal is to discuss provocative topics and encourage new ways of thinking. This year’s topic is STORYTELLING.

Designers are often tasked with telling stories in three dimensions – to illustrate brand, define mission or create community. Stories weave together recognizable patterns and from these patterns we find meaning.

Where do we find these symbols and how can they be manipulated to create content? How do we tell true, authentic and inclusive stories? How do we harness the narrative power of the stories we tell?

The live event takes place on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 from 8:00am-9:30am PST. Ticket sales close on Wednesday, February 10th at 3:00pm PST, so get yours today!

We hope that you join us for a morning of inspiration and community as we learn together about Storytelling. Questions? Check out our FAQs below for more details on this year’s event:
